Free George Mason University Clinic for rising 2nd - 6th Grade
The Mercer-Lunsford Basketball League is hosting a FREE 1-hour GMU clinic session at Freedom High School. The clinic will be held on Wednesday, July 8 from 4:00pm – 5:00pm at Freedom High School and will feature some of George Mason University’s players and staff. This is a great opportunity to meet some of the new GMU staff, get some pointers, and learn more about GMU’s summer camp programs. ... PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Register online at https://secure.adminsports.net/mercerlunsfordbasketball.
Deadline to register for this free clinic is Tuesday, July 7 at 9:00pm. Due to insurance regulations, no walk-ins will be permitted – you must be pre-registered and complete the online waiver forms to attend. Due to NCAA regulations, this clinic is open only to rising 6th grade and under. Sorry, no exceptions.

The Cardone family were multi-year MLBL participants until they relocated to Florida in 2014. I am sad to report that their oldest son, Michael, has been diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer. Michael is battling and has a long road ahead, and several members of the South Riding community have started a t-shirt fundraiser for the family. More information about the campaign is below, and thank you for your support.
